Hey hey! I am Quentin Brillantes, commonly known as “Q” (hence SPAR’Q’ Wealth, wow so inventive, I know ;P). I am a mid-twenties personal finance specialist who enjoys sharing his journey on building wealth and living a colorful life every step of the way!

I was born and raised in San Diego with two amazing parents and a rockstar sister. I graduated from Wake Forest University in 2017, where I majored in Finance and minored in Entrepreneurship. I turned down a job in Silicon Valley and became a bit of a vagabond for two years. I attended a handful of music festivals, road-tripped the California coast (has anyone actually used craigslist rideshare?!), traveled internationally, hopped between jobs in the service industry, and helped renovate/sell my parents’ house. I was a bit all over the place!

In the Summer of 2019, I moved up to San Francisco and started working in commercial real estate. I fell into the BiggerPockets community and was quickly interested in the creative ways people were building wealth. I started tracking my finances in January 2020. After losing my job to Covid-19 in March 2020, I created SPARQ Wealth to help others navigate the wild world of personal finance and help others build wealth!
